Recovery Space ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App").
Recovery Space does not require an account. Recovery dates, check-ins, journal entries, goals, emotion logs, progress history, and support contacts are stored locally on your device. We do not receive or store this recovery information on our servers.
The App does not use advertising, analytics, health-device integrations, or artificial-intelligence services. It does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, camera, body sensors, or Health Connect data.
Your locally stored information is used only on your device to provide the App's check-ins, journal, progress, and support features.
Your recovery information remains in the App's local storage on your device. Anyone with access to your unlocked device may be able to access it. Deleting the App removes its locally stored information according to your device platform's normal deletion behavior. Device backups are controlled by Apple, Google, or your device settings.
Crisis, phone, text, meeting-finder, and treatment-locator links open external services that have their own privacy practices. Apple and Google may process store, download, diagnostic, or device information under their own policies. Recovery Space does not receive your journal or check-in content from them.
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
You can view or change information through the App. You can remove locally stored App information by deleting the App. Because we do not maintain user accounts or a server copy of your recovery entries, we cannot retrieve or delete information stored only on your device.
